Bluewater Hires Emily Allen as the New Human Resources Manager

Emily Allen has seven years of human resource experience and a passion for employee leadership, development and team building.

Bluewater, a woman-owned technology design firm based out of Southfield, Michigan, is happy to announce the company has hired Emily Allen as the new human resource manager. Allen will be responsible for various initiatives that drive Bluewater’s organizational culture and the company’s people-focused strategy, including the evaluation and design of programs to attract, retain, reward and motivate top talent.

Allen has her BBA from Siena Heights University and MBA from Capella University. She comes to Bluewater with seven years as a human resource professional, supporting companies and top executives with an overall focus on culture-enhancing initiatives for improved performance, growth, and employee engagement. Most recently, Allen was the human resource director for HomeFirst Certified Communities. Here she was responsible for, among other responsibilities, talent acquisition, recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training staff. She was also a member of the company’s executive leadership team, offering ideas, concerns, and solutions to ensure company goals were met and advancement the company’s culture.
